5.1) Verification of documents

First, you have to verify your documents with the Austrian Embassy. Without verification of documents, you cannot apply to any university for admission. 5.3) Apply for university admission:

After verification and legalization, you will apply to your required university for your specific programed. After assessing your verified and legalized document, they assess your profile; if you are selected, then they give you an admission letter. Remember, you don’t have to pay the university fee unless you land in Austria. In some universities, there is an application fee, and in others, there is not, so you have to find it on your own.

5.4) Resident permit:

After submitting your admission, you apply for a resident permit. There is a fee of 150 euros. The Embassy will give you the appointment date for your resident permit. During this period, you will have to prepare your accommodation letter in Austria. You will also do travel insurance for 6 months with your flight ticket. When your date comes for an appointment, you bring the following documents to the embassy:

  1. Accommodation letter
  2. Flight ticket
  3. All your documents
  4. Your university admission letter
  5. Bank statement

They receive your document and give you 1 month to access it.

Bank statement: Remember, you have to provide the bank statement for your finances in Austria. Those who are below 24 years old keep their minimum of 8000 euros, and those who are above 24 years old have to secure their bank statement up to 14–15 thousand euros. Remember, you also have to justify your bank statement in front of the embassy during all stages of your whole process.

5.5) Visa Stamp:

If they approve your resident permit after reviewing all of your documents, it means you are one step closer to Austria. All you need to do now is go to the embassy and have your visa stamped before flying to Austria.
